Description The SLIC KIT (L3000S/L3092) is a set of solid state devices designed to integrate many of the functions needed to interface a telephone line. It consists of 2 integrated devices ; the L3000S line interface circuit and the L3092 control unit. The kit implements the main features of the BORSHT functions: - Battery feed (balance mode) - Ringing Injection - Sign.
Features of the BORSHT functions: - Battery feed (balance mode) - Ringing Injection - Signalling Detection December 1997 - Hybrid Function The SLIC KIT injects the ringing signal in balanced mode and requires a positive supply voltage of typically + 72V to be available on the subscriber card. The L3000S/L3092 kit generates the ringing signal internally, avoiding the requirement for expensive external circuitry. A low level 1.5Vrms input is required. (This can be provided by the combo). A special operating mode limits the SLIC KIT power dissipation to 50mW in on-hook condition keeping the on/off hook d.
