The IC lowers its OTP trip point from 165°C to 110°C when output short circuit occurs (V OUT < 0.4V) providing maximum safety to end users. The RT9054 can operate stably with very small ceramic output capacitors, reducing required board space and component cost. The RT9054 is available in fixed output voltages in the WDFN-6L 1.6x1.6 packages.
